Designing and printing
Gone are the days of the inky-fingered compositor setting up leaded type and 'pulling off' paper proofs. Publishing, as with most businesses, has entered the computer age. This should not alarm authors unfamiliar with computers as the range of services we offer includes:
- Translating typewritten manuscripts into a standard computer word processing format.
- Processing manuscripts already presented on computer media, floppy disk or CD.
Our designers, working with the latest computer programmes, are briefed by your editor and design the whole book, cover and contents. Two sets of proofs are sent to you for checking and comment prior to printing.
